As discussed on the phone this afternoon, on 1/13/2022 around 1:00 p.m. operations staff noticed a dark rust brown
color in the influent wastewater at Crowders WWTP. Staff performed a trunkline investigation which was able to trace it
back to our Brandon Creek outfall line. They were unable to get to any particular source due to the discharge
ceasing. The color stopped coming into the influent around 4:00 p.m.
No pass through or harmful effects on the treatment process have been observed. Analysis if being performed on the
sample for heavy metals and we will follow back up with you if anything of concern is discovered.
