Ori,
Per our discussion yesterday.
Crowders Creek had a slug load enter the plant yesterday. The staff indicated that it started around 4:30am
yesterday, 1/12/2022. It started to taper off somewhere around 4:30 pm the same evening. The slug load had
the appearance of a cleaning solution with white foam. Extra process control samples were analyzed and early
indications are that the process was stressed but nitrification is still occurring. Staff will continue to monitor
the process and if anything changes we will let you know.
Trunkline sampling was performed and a source is believed to have been identified. Pretreatment staff are
working with the source to determine chemicals and quantities that were discharged as well as how to
prevent future occurrences.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Charlie Graham
