SUBJECT: Surry 180
Replace Bridge No. 850180 on S.R. 1953 (W. Dodson
Mill Road) over Toms Creek in Surry County, NC.
Thompson Gordon Shook Engineers, Inc., d/b/a TGS Engineers, has been retained
by the NCDOT to provide comprehensive professional engineering and
environmental services for the subject project. Included as part of these services,
TGS Engineers will complete an environmental document prepared in accordance
with the National Environmental Policy Act.
This project includes replacement of Bridge No. 850180 on W. Dodson Mill Road
over Toms Creek in Surry County, NC.
We would appreciate any information you might have that would be helpful in
evaluating potential environmental impacts for this project. Please respond by
January 14th, 2022, so that your comments can be used in the development of this
project. Copies of the Vicinity Map (Fig. 1), Study Area Map (Fig. 2), and USGS
Topographic Map (Fig. 3) are attached for your use.
