An impervious sandbag d:ike will be constructed inside of the culvert with a jump pipe %n the dik�. Clear� water will temporar�l�y be piped through th� construction area and wi11 be discharged dawnstream. Any dirty water lc�cated inside the canstructlon ar�a w111 be pumped into a silt bag 1f necessary. The impervious dike vv�ll be removed only after a11 of the repairs are com�lete and a11 concrete has cured. Construction of this praj �ct will require impacts to �vaters c�f the LTnited States �n ihe Yadk�n Rlver Basir�. The existi�g culvert carries a LTT to St�warts Creek (Class: �).
