The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Plant has one discharge site that is used for monitoring. All effluent monitoring
requirements were being performed with the exception of upstream and downstream temperature. Mr.
Peters stated that they would start checking the temperature as required by the permit.
There is a residual chlorine limit with the new permit of 17 micrograms/liter. The samples were shown in
milligrams/liter. It is suggested that the samples be measured in micrograms/liter to ensure compliance with
your permit. You have 18 months after the date of the permit to meet this limit.
