This project will upgrade an existing gravel road to a two-lane paved road. The proposed road alignment would cross the stream at an angle that necessitates an almost 90 degree bend in the stream in order to direct it through the culvert. We are concerned about the long-term stability of this alignment and recommend that the design be re-evaluated to allow a stream crossing that does not necessitate this severe stream bend.
