1. Attach a vicinity map (i.e. street map) clearly showing the location of the property with
respect to local landmarks such as towns, rivers, and roads.
2. Provide a detailed site plan showing property boundaries and proposed locations of
vegetation clearing, structures (buildings, retaining walls, docks, impervious surfaces,

etc.), rip rap, excavation or dredging below Full Pond/ Normal Water Level elevations,
and construction access corridors. You may use the diagram provided at the end of this
application form.
3. Attach a photograph of the shoreline/ buffer proposed to be stabilized. (Include a scale
of some sort- a yard stick, shovel handle, etc.)
4. Location of the property (where work is to be conducted)

8. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been
avoided, or why it is necessary): Build a dock, remove large root ball and dangerous
tree stump, dress the shoreline, add Rip Rap 3' above and 3' below full pond 1

Catawba County has an agreement with Republic Services of NC granting them an exclusive license to transport and dispose of all solid
waste, including construction and demolition debris in the unincorporated areas of the County The approval of your application for a
construction/building permit is made specifically contingent upon your agreement not to utilize any other business or company to transport
and/or dispose of solid waste from construction site(s) Failure to comply with this provision may result to assessment of fines up to $500 per
This permit is issued on the express condition that the above work shall conform in all respects to the statements certified to in the
application for such permit, and that all work shall be done to accordance with all applicable zoning, building, electricai, plumbing and
mechanical ordinances of the County of Catawba and the State of North Carolina.
A permit issued for work under this Code shall expire by limitations six months after the date of issuance if the work authorized (FOOTINGS
ARE CONSIDERED I st INSPECTION ON NEW CONSTRUCTION) has not been commenced If after commencement the work is
discontunued for a period of 12 months, the permit therefore shall expire If a project expires, a minimum fee per the current fee schedule will
