This outlet is located outside of buffer zone. The proposed roadway width, curb and gutter, and side walk dimensions will match existing's. There are no increases in impervious area for the project and the pre and post discharges are the same. Therefore, additional stormwarter measures are not required. The offsite stormwater is collected at Mcguinn Drive using an existing 18" RCP open end pipe and an existing catch basin near the intersection with -L- (E. Lexington Ave.). These two inlets are located outside of the project limit and this existing storm drain system should be retained. The proposed roadway is in fill section and there are no new roadside ditches or new stormwater conveyances through the buffers. Diffuse Flow Requirement (Randleman Lake Buffer Rule Section (8)) is satified for the project. The proposed box culvert was sized to match existing channel geomery to maintain normal flow width, depth, and velocity. This will maintain sediment transport during bankful discharge in order to provide a stable stream (no degradation or agradation will occurs). The barrel invert will be a minimum of 1' below the stream bed to consider fish passage.
