Overflows(SSO).
There was a total of two wastewater treatment facility permit violations at the Pond Creek
WWTP, and One violation and the Grassy Gap WWTP as summarized in Table 3.
During the FY 2020-2021,the utility has also begun the Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project
(H-SRP-D17-0126 &E-SRP-W-17-0104). This project focuses on the Charter Hills area
including over 20,000 feet of line replacement and rehab as well as many manhole repairs in the
continuing effort to reduce inflow and infiltration to our system. Project completion is expected
by November 2021.
The Utility continues to plan for future repairs in our system and ask for customer involvement
in reducing SSO volume and the reduction of water getting into the system. Help us to keep the
system free of materials that cause blockages by not dumping debris, fats, oils, or grease into the
system.
