Description of Collection System or Treatment Process:
The LOF Glass Wastewater Treatment Plant is a 30,000-gallon per day wastewater
facility with the following components: Grit Removal, Extended Aeration, Anaerobic
Sludge Digesters, clarifier and post chlorination. This facility treats only the domestic
waste from Libbey-Owens Ford glass plant.
II. Performance
Text Summary of System Performance for Calendar Year 2000
The LOF wastewater facility was in compliance for all but one month which was the
month of May 2000. This noncompliance was caused by the influent sample on. May 16, 2000
did not meet BOD criteria. The sample was disqualified because of Lab error.

should include discussion of any environmental impacts and corrective measures taken to address
violations.

Corrective Action taken for this violation was to inform all operators of all parameters that need to
be monitored and these were posted at the Wastewater Plant Laboratory.
