Land Surveyors, Engineers, Land Planners Project Narrative This project is located just north of the Brunswick Forest Parkway Traffic Circle. The purpose of this project is to extend the existing gravity sewer main along Kay Todd Road to serve Phase 8 Section 3, a 58-lot subdivision located in Brunswick Forest. A total of 3,742' of 8" gravity sewer will be extended with a requested total flow of 12,180 GPD. This project is part of an overall master permit W00028587. The sewer will outfall to an existing Manhole located on Kay Todd Road just north of the traffic circle that flows to 1-12G0 Pump Station #84. 1123 Floral Parkway Wilmington, N.C. 28403 Phone (910) 343-8002 Fax 9f0) 343-9941 Business Firm License No. C-0597 8/31/2021 PHASE 8 SECTION 3 PROJECT LOCATION R - -41 e en — e9 l i nW coLln 600ft USGS The National Map: National Boundaries Dataset, 3DEP Elevation Program, Geographic Names Information System, National Hydrography Dataset, National Land Cover Database, National Structures Dataset, and National Transportation Dataset; USGS Global Ecosystems; U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line data; USFS Road Data; Natural Earth Data; U.S. Department of State Humanitarian Information Unit; and NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, U.S. Coastal Relief Model. Dickson & Co., Inc. 909 Market Street Wilmington, NC 28401 Subject: Northeast Brunswick Regional WWTP Flow Reduction Request Brunswick County Dear Mr. Hubard: W X DICKSON OCT 2 6 2009 IE,ECEIVED On August 20, 2009, the Pretreatment, Emergency Response and Collection Systems (PERCS) Unit received a flow reduction request for connections to the Northeast Brunswick Regional WWTP. The letter requests an allowable flow rate of 70 GPD per bedroom based on the evaluated data from the WWTP and water usage data. Additional information regarding flow calibration and the age of the system was received on October 16, 2009. The DMR data from the Northeast Regional WWTP (NC0086819) and the Belville WWTP (NC0075540) from February 2008 through February 2009 was analyzed by PERCS Unit staff, along with water usage data from the Town of Leland, the Town of Navassa, H200 and Leland Industrial Park, as well as inflow and infiltration data. The highest usage month was November 2008 for the Northeast Regional WWTP. Based on the data, the Division hereby grants a re tion in flow to ZO gpd/bedroom (minimum of 140 gpd for 1 and 2 bedroom residences) for sewer extension permits issued tributary to the Northeast Regional WWTP. Regardless of the adjusted design daily wastewater flow rate at no time shall the wastewater flows exceed the effluent limits defined in the NPDES permit for the treatment facility or exceed the capacity of the sewers downstream of any new sewer extension or service connection(s) If you have any questions or comments regarding this matter, please contact Sarah Morrison at (919) 807-6310, email [Sarah.Morrison@ncdenr.gov] or Deborah Gore, Unit Supervisor at (919) 807-6383, email [Deborah.Gore@ncdenr.gov].
