Dear Mr. Tharrington,
The Town is in receipt of the NOV dated December 8, 2021 for violations in September's
monthly discharge monitoring report. The Town offers the following comments on the
violations:
The Town's weekly exceeded its weekly Fecal Coliform limit on the week of 9-21-2021. The
Town believes this was caused by rainfall which elevated flows and shortened detention time at
the effluent. The Town received approximately four inches of rain that week. However, the
Town's monthly average was well within its limits and there were no significant environmental
impacts.
