On December 9, 2021 staff of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR), Water Quality
Regional Operations Section (WQROS) and NCDA Soil & Water visited your farm to conduct a
waste lagoon sludge survey. The results of the survey are attached. With this information, your
County or other technical specialist will have the information needed to develop a lagoon sludge
pump -out and closure plan. Please let us know within 30 days your plans to close out the lagoon,
which will allow you to request rescission of the subject permit.
