Description of Collection System or Treatment Process:
Operation,of a:0.2 MGD, wastewater treatment facility consisting of a'manual car screen,
two oxidation ditches operated in parallel treatment trains, two clarifiers with flow directed to a
Partial flume and flow meter, 'step down post aeration, .aerated sludge digester with sludge drying
beds, and post chlorination. This facility is located at the Parkton WWWTP, ' on NC. SR 1724
southeast of Parkton in Robeson County. The wastewater collection, system consists Of 2 miles of
gravity flow sewermainsand 1.5 miles of force mains. We have two liffstations that pump
sewer water to differentlocations through out the -collection system: Lift station 4.2 pumps sewer
•water to the wastewater treatment plant.

5'— Permit Violation.Occurred on Permit LimitViolations
During the month of January, our average flow was .276 MGD. The monthly limit ;is .200 MGD.
In addition, we failed the toxicity'test in January 2007 During the month of February, our
average flow a month was .249 MGD: The monthly limit is .200MGD. In addition, we failed the
toxicity test in February'2007. During the month of March, we also failed the toxicity test..The
toxicity tests for the rest of the 2007-year We passed.. The reason we went over on our flow for
the months of January and February, 2007, the flow meter was out of calibration. The reason for
failing toxicitywas. due to dechlorination in effluent water.
