General Information Facility/System Name: Responsible Entity: Person in Charge/Contact: Applicable Permit(s): Town of Fairmont Town of Fairmont Johnny Britt NC0021059 FEB ► 3 206Z CM Description of Collection System or Treatment Process: We have a Gravity Flow sewer collection, with only one lift station to our existing 0.50 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant. The plant has the following components: manual bar screen, grit pump, influent wet well and pumps, aeration tank with diffusers, aerobic digester, clarifier, effluent chlorination basin, flow meter, cascade post aeration, drying beds for sludge, and a back up generator. The facility is located on Brown Street. II. Performance Text Summary of System Performance for Calendar Year 2001: The plant met the monthly testing limits on effluent except for the following months. List (by month) any violations of permit conditions or other environmental regulations. Monthly lists should include discussion of any environmental impacts and corrective measures taken to address violations. I further certify that this report has been made available to the users or customers of the named system and that those users have been notified of its availability. Date Town of Fairmont Public Notice The North Carolina Clean Water Act of 1999 requires that each owner or operator of any wastewater plant or collection system provide an annual performance report to its users and customers. The Town of Fairmont owns its wastewater collections system and the wastewater facility located at 101 Brown Street. We had one sewer spill 0200 gallons at 701 Pittman Street. The manhole ran over due to a grease blockage in sewer line. List (by month) any violations of permit conditions or other environmental regulations. Monthly lists should include discussion of any environmental impacts and corrective measures taken to address violations.
