Good Morning Jim,
We will be submitting the attached documents for your review:
-C9.12 – revised to include callouts for the vegetated conveyances as well as table of non-erosive velocities in each.
-Vegetated Conveyances – compiled calculations for each of the vegetated conveyances showing non-erosive velocities.
We will submit 1x hard copy & 1x electronic copy, and we will follow the directions you have provided below for each
submittal.
Thank you for working to address these comments outside of another formal review.

All,
I was looking over the additional information you provided on October 20, 2021. Everything looks good except for a few
small issues:
Please provide the following:
- 1x hard copy & 1x electronic copy of the calculations for the vegetated conveyances showing that they are
designed so that they do not erode during the peak flow from the 10-year storm (in accordance with 15A NCAC
02H .1003(2)(c)(ii)). NOTE: These calculations are in addition to the provided curb outlet swale calculations.
For future reference:
- When uploading the electronic files, please make sure to select “State Stormwater (Post-Construction) Permit”
as the permit type at the top of the form as this impacts the available file types for upload (a lot of the items
from the prior submission were categorized as “Other (Not Listed)”).
Hard copies should be mailed to me at the following address:
For FedEx/UPS:
Jim Farkas
512 N. Salisbury Street, Office 640E
Raleigh, NC 27604
For USPS:
Jim Farkas
1612 Mail Service Center
Raleigh, NC 27699-1612
Electronic copies should be uploaded at the following location:
https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload
Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies, anything else that may have changed from addressing
these issues, and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the
permit without doing another formal 30-45 day review.
Let me know if you have any questions.
