Emily,
I've attached a set of figures and one stream form we completed for the drainage feature /ditch on the southern
boundary of the parcel. We need to make a determination for that drainage feature and the man -made pond depicted
in the area of interest in Figure 1. The pond appears to be man -made since there is no connection to the ditch or any
other water body and there is evidence of spoil on the edge of the pond. There is standing water and hydric soils in the
pond with vegetation consisting of a black willow and red maple canopy on the fringe with cattails, common rush,
woolgrass, and smartweed in the herb layer. Some duckweed and marsh pennywort were observed in the standing
water. We are in the process of getting the agent authorization form and will send asap. Could you also please confirm
the date you saved for this site visit, Jan 8 or 9t"? I will be checking with Roberto to see if that date works for him as
well.
