This letter is being sent as a follow-up to the Withers Cove Duke Energy Permit
Application that was submitted to your office on June 26, 2007. Enclosed is a
copy of the original transmittal.
As part of the 2005 Steele Creek North Annexation the Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Utility Department is proposing to construct a 16-inch water main underneath
Withers Cove, Lake Wylie. This project requires that a Duke Energy
Conveyance permit application be submitted to Duke Energy. As part of this
application a courtesy copy is being submitted to NC Department of
Environment & Natural Resources Division of Water Quality.
Please review the original permit application submitted June 26, 2007 and notify
us of any questions, comments, concerns, or approvals within 15 days of the date
of this letter as stated in the permit application. Feel free to contact me or
