Site inspection was conducted by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office on December 13, 2021. Kenny
Corn was present during the inspection. The following are items that require attention:
- Station 14+00 L-RT - Pressure release from the directional bore has caused measures to be overwhelmed. This has
resulted in a sediment release into a JS. High turbidity was observed in Slow Creek downstream of the project as a
result of the release. I have been communicating with the inspector to address the situation. Additional measures are
needed to prevent this from recurring. All off site sediment needs to be removed from the stream.
