It is not valid for Archaeological Resources. You must consult separately with the Archaeology Group. PROJECT INFORMATION Project No: County: Madison WBS No.: 17BP.13.R.172 Document Type: MCC Fed. Aid No: Funding: State Federal Federal Permit(s): Yes No Permit Type(s): Project Description: Replace Bridge No. 145 on SR 1151 (Big Pine Road) over Big Pine Creek. SUMMARY OF HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW Description of review activities, results, and conclusions: Review of HPO quad maps, HPO GIS information, historic designations roster, and indexes was undertaken on June 14, 2021. Based on this review, there are no existing NR, SL, LD, DE, or SS properties in the Area of Potential Effects, which is defined on the following maps. A survey was conducted on May 8, 2013. The structures within the APE, 9340 Big Pine Road, 9320 Big Pine Road, and 9102 Big Pine Road are all early twentieth century frame houses with several outbuildings. All three are unremarkable and have been altered over time by the replacement of original material and additions. A review of this 2013 survey indicates that the survey still stands. There are no National Register listed or eligible properties within the APE. In addition, Bridge No. 145 is not NR eligible. If design plans change, additional review will be required. Why the available information provides a reliable basis for reasonably predicting that there are no unidentified significant historic architectural or landscape resources in the project area: HPO quad maps and GIS information recording NR, SL, LD, DE, and SS properties for the Madison County survey, Madison County GIS/Tax information, and Google Maps are considered valid for the purposes of determining the likelihood of historic resources being present. There are no National Register listed or eligible properties within the APE and no survey is required. SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION Map(s) Previous Survey Info.
