PLANNING ASSESSMENT ADDENDUM (PAA)
Submit a planning assessment addendum for each pump station listed in Section II where Available Capacity is <-
0.
Pump Station (Name or Number):
Given that:
a. The proportion and amount of Obligated, Not Yet Tributary Daily Flow (C) accounts for
31.5 % and 0.0654 MGD of the Available Capacity (E) in Pump Station
Pine Level ; and that
b. The rate of activation of this obligated, not yet tributary capacity is currently approximately
0.3 MOD per year; and that
c. A funded Capital Project that will provide the required planned capacity, namely
Pine Level Sewer FM Replacement is in design or under construction witli
planned completion in May,2022 ; and/or
d. The following applies:
The County has a project under construction that will take the Pine Level W WPS to a
capacity of 700 m - the Pine Level Sewer FM Re lacement Project W 0042434).
The Coun will not accept flow from the Pinecrest Subdivision until that project is
complete and o erational.
Therefore:
Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow
this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system
infrastructure.
I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143-
215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal
system.

S. A letter from the applicant recognizing the requirements of the proposed aerial crossing
Proiect Narrative:
This application is for an extension of the gravity sewer system of Town of Pine Level to serve the
Pinecrest Subdivision. This extension includes +/-4,1251f of new 8" gravity sewer and will connect to an
existing Town of Pine Level gravity sewer system permit number unknown. The sewer system will serve
56 single family homes, which is the basis for flow for this project.
As required in FTA-06-21 IX 2. The following is an explanation of the watermain and sewer main
separation. The separation deviation between the water and the sewer is at the stream crossing to
reduce the stream, buffer and wetland impacts. The minimum horizontal separation is +/-3' at the
stream crossing. Although the sewer is crossing the stream in an aerial crossing and the watermain will
be installed a minimum of 5' below the stream bed, therefore, the vertical separation will be great. Both
the watermain and sewer main are proposed to be DIP pipe, testing methods and acceptability
standards meeting water main standards shall be used.
As required in FTA -06-21 IX 3. The following is an explanation of the wetland crossings. We propose to
bore +/-180lf of 16" steel casing with an 8" DIP carrier pipe under the wetlands. At one end of this leg of
gravity sewer there is a manhole greater than 10' but less than 50' from the wetland edge. This manhole
