'., w' ... 13 t7 . ~ ~ ~, a ,~. -. :, a ~Uu~ 1V ;i(, . . . _r„. We received NC Division of Water Quality's June 28, 20071etter requesting additional information for the subject project. As requested, cross-section details for the proposed crossing and diffuse flow provision measures are shown on the attached project plans (Sheets C3.2 & C3.3). Worksheets for each proposed level spreader and an Operation and Maintenance Agreement for them are also attached. It is important to note that due to several feet difference in elevation between the former pond bottom and the perennial stream channel located at the base of the dam creating a slope that is much greater than 2%, the culvert pipe was not buried to avoid headcutting of the newly forming stream channel in the pond bottom. Also as requested, Figure 4 attached shows the topography of adjoining properties. Two roads are stubbed at the northern property line. As shown on the attached map, these road stubs are positioned to provide access to high ground on the adjoining property. Mr. Ian McMillan July 23, 2007 Page 2 of 2 If you have any questions or require more information, please do not hesitate to contact me at (919) 841-9977. Sincerely, BURDETTE LAND CONSULTING, INC.
