POND REHABILITATION NOTES:
1. THE EXISTING INTERIOR POND SLOPES BELOW THE TOP OF DAM ELEVATION SHALL BE GRADED TO

2. THE EXISTING INTERIOR POND SLOPES ABOVE THE TOP OF DAM ELEVATION AND EXISTING

I . GEOTECHNOLOGIES, INC. COMPLETED A FIELD INVESTIGATION OF THE DAM FILL AND
ENCOUNTERED TOPSOIL MATERIAL THAT REQUIRES REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT AS OUTLINED
IN THEIR 10/2 1/21 REPORT AND SHOWN HEREON.
2. REPLACEMENT SOILS SHALL BE CLAY, SILT OR SILTY TO CLAYEY SAND COMPACTED TO AT LEAST
95% OF STANDARD PROCTOR MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY.
3. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT GEOTECHNOLOGIES, INC. BE RETAINED TO OBSERVE THE REMEDIAL
WORK, PROVIDE DENSITY TESTING AND PROVIDE DIRECTION FOR NECESSARY REPAIRS.
4. RETAINING WALLS SHALL BE SEGMENTED BLOCK TINTED MEDIUM OR DARK BROWN OR RUST IN
COLOR. ALL PERMITTING WILL BE HANDLED AS A SEPARATE SUBMTTAL.
5. FENCING SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE TOP OF RETAINING WALLS IF REQUIRED BY THE BUILDING
CODE.
6. JOINT SEPARATION OF THE FES OUTLET PIPE BARREL FROM THE RISER SHALL BE SEALED WITH
HYDRAULIC CEMENT.
