Background AQUA has identified the need to re-route an existing 3" force main in The Cape Sewer System located in southern New Hanover County. A portion of the existing 3" sewer force main is to be abandoned due to its old age and poor condition. The force main is to be re-routed to a near -by gravity sewer system located near the intersection of Valley Brook Rd and Carolina Beach Road.
