Dear Villas Homeowners Association:
On October 29th, 2020 a routine inspection by the Town of Wake Forest's construction inspector was
conducted in the Villas of Wake Forest Subdivision. A potential illicit discharge was noted on your property.
Specifically, at the end of Blue Bird Lane an illegal dumping of concrete was found Please see the attached
photo. This dumping resulted in contamination of the storm sewer system. This discharge is in violation of
the Town of Wake Forest Code of Ordinances and may be subject to a fine. Please reference the Town of
Wake Forest Code of Ordinance Chapter 32 Article VI:

ystem or wateranurses any materials, including but not limited to, pollutants or waters containing arty po&tants that
cause or contribute to a violation of applicable water quality standards, other than stormwater.
The town considers dumping of concrete materials without a properly constructed concrete washout pit per
our erosion control details an adverse impact to our water quality.
To bring your property back into compliance, the following recommendation, or approved alternative, must
be accomplished within (30) thirty days of your receipt of this notification:
1. Remove illegal dumping of concrete material
2. Clean adjacent roadway and sidewalk impacted by illegal dumping
Please contact the stormwater engineer within the Public Works Department to receive approval for an
alternative solution prior to beginning work. When you have taken appropriate measures to ensure that this
violation has been corrected, contact out office so that we may re -inspect the area. Your prompt attention
and cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please call the

On January 22nd, 2021 a routine inspection by the Town of Wake Forest's construction inspector was
conducted in the Villas of Wake Forest Subdivision. A potential illicit discharge was noted on your property.
Specifically, at the end of Blue Bird Lane another incident of illegal dumping of concrete was found. Please
see the attached photos. This discharge is in violation of the Town of Wake Forest Code of Ordinances and
may be subject to a fine. Please reference the Town of Wake Forest Code of Ordinance Chapter 32 Article
