DESCRIPTION OF TREATMENT PROCESS:
The City of Dunn A.B. Uzzle Water Treatment Facility utilizes alum and polymers to flocculate and settle
particulate in its water treatment process. The resulting biosolids are thickened and stored in a holding
lagoon until land applied on permitted farm sites.
II. PERFORMANCE:
The City of Dunn A.B. Uzzle Water Treatment Facility had no reportable compliance violations in 2016.
III. NOTIFICATION:
This report is a matter of public record and will be filed in the City of Dunn, North Carolina Administrative
Office. Notification to users or customers of the system will be made via the City's local government cable
channel of the availability of this report for viewing on the City website or at City Hall.
IV. CERTIFICATION:
