If the project is complete and the erosion control plan is no longer needed, you need to contact the DEMLR
Wilmington Regional Office and request a final erosion control inspection. Once you receive the final
inspection report, you will upload that as supporting documentation.
If the project is ongoing, you need to provide documentation that the erosion control requirements are being
handled by the new owner. This could be the erosion control plan approval issued to the new owner or the new
owner's COC number.
Before you submit a new NOT request, you also need to complete the NOT Certification Form which is
available at: https:Hdeq.nc.gov/about/divisions/energy-mineral-and-land-resources/stonnwater/stormwater-
program/npdes-construction-program. Scroll down to the "How to Terminate a Certificate of Coverage" section
