This inspection was conducted to determine whether the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Overall, the property and septic system were well-maintained and appeared to be in compliance with NPDES Permit No. NCG550370. The permittee, Ms. Tamara Parr, stated that she has never seen the system discharge. Ms. Parr has the septic tank pumped every 3-5 years. Is the facility sampling performed as required by the permit (frequency, sampling type representative)? Ms. Parr stated that she has never seen the system discharge, therefore sampling has not been conducted. If the system ever discharges, annual sampling will be required.
