Dear Mr. Malpass
Effective August 1, 2013 the State Stormwater program has been transferred from the Division
of Water Quality (DWQ) to the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR). All
previous references to DWQ will remain in older stormwater permits issued prior to August 1,
2013 until they are modified.
On July 26, 2013, the Wilmington Regional Office received a request to revise the approved
plans for Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 111206. The revisions include
changing the pipe connecting the two ponds from a 24" pipe to a 48" pipe, adjusting the location
of the pond outfall, and slightly raising the road grades, manhole tops, and catch basin tops. It
has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required for the proposed changes,
We are forwarding you an approved copy of the revised plans for your files. Please replace the
old approved plan sheets with the new ones.
Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit issued on February 6, 2012,
remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to
'the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case -by -case
basis. Any other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to
construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from
complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may
have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to
construction.

Revised to raise road grades increase the size of the pipe connecting the forebay to the main pond, and adjust
the location of the pond outfall pipe.

submitted to the DWQ Office that issued the permit.

Re: Windermere Estates PUD (SW8 111206)
The following revisions have been made to the plan:
1. Changed the size of the pipe connecting the ponds from a 24" to a 48".
2. Adjusted the location of the pond outfall pipe.
3. Raised road grades, manhole tops, & catch basin tops.
The route that the pond outfall pipe takes from the outlet structure to the discharge point
was adjusted. We raised the road grades (<0.1').
Two copies of the revised stormwater plan are provided.
