RE: [External] Storm Pond Permit numbers sw8-081114 and sw8-170204
Mr. Beaudoin,
I pulled the files and looked through them. SW8 081114 is set up for a mostly residential subdivision. Your land, Tract
B/ SW8 170204, is permitted to drain to the pond permitted under SW8 081114. And, yes, I see that SW8 081114 is
expired. The permittee for SW8 081114 simply needs to apply for a renewal. That will extend the expiration date of the
permit by eight years. The SW8 081114 permit was issued most recently on 6/26/2017. The SW8 170204 permit was
issued most recently on 2/15/2017. If the construction plan has changed for either of the permits, then you will need to
modify the appropriate permit(s). If that is not the case, then all we need is the SW8 081114 renewal.
Thanks,
Kelly

Christine:
Hi there. I believe Kelly is out of the office until 2/17. Cameron Weaver (below) was in contact with Kelly on
this.
I spoke to you briefly on the phone today and here is a recap:
I sold some land with a "built storm pond" on it - Permit SW8 081114. The developer who purchased my land
submitted a modification to SW8 081114 (that took my land into consideration and captured my storm water
in a road that was to be built through my land) but that plan never came to fruition (and the storm
pond remained "as is") and the permit expired 4/9/2020. When I sold the land, the developer gave me an
easement to use the storm pond for 198,000 sq ft of impervious and a separate storm water permit was
written for me (SW8 170204).
I spoke with Cameron Weaver who relayed the above to Kelly Johnson: I was told that since the permit has
expired, we are back to the original design from 4/2/2009 for permit SW8 081114 and if this design
is modified in anyway that it will require me to sign off on it. Obviously, my land is graded in a certain way and
drains into the forebay which runs down 2 sides of the pond.
Please Confirm the above
Thanks

REMARKS:
Per our conversations over the last few weeks, please see attached for the stormwater permit recission request for the
Hampstead Commons project. Also attached is the updated 1*t page for the stormwater application for the new project
named Southwater Village, which in essence will replace the previous Hampstead Commons project. Once a new State
SW permit is issued for the project, we will submit a new offsite minor modification for SW8 170204.
If you have any questions or need any further information, please let me know. Thanks.

The proposed Community Aquatic Center project area on the northeast side of the
access road has been accounted for as part of the drainage area treated by the pond
permitted under SW8 080114 for Hampstead Commons. Under the master permit, the
Aquatic Center has been allocated 198,000 sf of BUA. The currently proposed Aquatic
Center plans appear to show an additional 2.68 acres being developed to the southwest
for Lots 1-7 and additional phases and expansions of the Community Center that are not
shown on the currently approved plans for SW8 170204. Those approved plans under
SW8 170204 will need to be revised and the Master Permit and plans under SW8 0
