Subject: Stream Repair Workshop - 214 Edward Street (DWR #13 -1244)
Hi Mitch,
After reviewing your application for stream repair at the home of Helena Cragg and Sylvia Williams at 214 Edward Street
in Durham, I've determined that the work you're proposing does not require a Riparian Buffer Authorization. Removal
of invasive exotic plants, replanting of native vegetation, and removal of concrete in order to replant native vegetation
are all activities that are exempt from the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rules. In order to be exempt from these rules, it is
understood that none of these activities will result in significant disturbance to the soil. If you need anything else,
please let me know. Thank you.
