Location - As a means of minimizing downstream and off site impacts, level spreaders are typically placed at the outlets of post -development ditches and other monmade conveyances. The intent of the level spreader is to uniformly distribute the concentrated flows usually associated with these conveyances over a larger area. 2. Length - the total length of the level spreader shall be constructed as noted on the plan sheet. 3. The Level spreader plate shall shalt be constructed of treated 2"x10" lumber and shall be installed completely level over its entire length with a max. deviation of 0.25". 4. A channel shall be constructed along the upstream side of the spreader plate with dimensions as given in the detail on this sheet. Again, to ensure equal distritution, the channel shall be constructed us longitudinally level as possible. Any portion of the channel that will not be lined with rip -rap shall be permanently vegetated as per seeding specifications. 5. Geotextile fabric (filter cloth) sholl be utilized in areas that will receive rip -rap stone. 7. Rip -Rap - crushed aggregate (4" to 5" typ.) shall be placed in those areas given in the details on this sheet. 8. Maintenance - the level spreader shall be inspected and maintained in accordance with the operation & maintenance agreement. GENERAL NOTES: 1. THIS PLAN ILLUSTRATES PROPOSED CORRECTIVE ACTIONS THAT SHALL BE PERFORMED IN PART WITH A MODIFICATION TO STATE STORMWATER PERMIT #SW7090316. THESE IMPROVEMENTS ARE INTENDED TO BRING THE EXISTING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITHIN REASONABLE COMPLIANCE W/ CURRENT STATE REGULATIONS AS THEY RELATE TO THE CONSTRUCTED DEVELOPMENT IN WHICH IT IS SERVING. 2. AS -BUILT HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL ELEVATION INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS SHEET IS BASED ON A CONSTRUCTION RECORD SURVEY PERFORMED ON 6/16/09-6/17/09 AS ILLUSTRATED ON A PLAT PREPARED BY BISSELL PROFESSIONAL GROUP TITLED "WINDCHASER INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION - TRACT 5, CONSTRUCTION RECORD DRAWING" DATED 6/18/09, CAD FILE: 440900AB1 3.
