STORMWATER NOTES:
1. SOIL BORINGS IN INFILTRATION BASINS
WILL BE CONDUCTED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF IMPERVIOUS AREAS
THAT PRODUCE STORMWATER RUNOFF. BORINGS WILL BE LOGGED
AND SUBMITTED WITH THE PE CERTIFICATION REQUIRED WITH PERMIT.
A REGISTERED SOIL SCIENTIST WILL FIELD VERIFY THAT THE SOILS IN
THESE AREAS WILL BE REPLACED WITH SUITABLE SOILS PER NCDENR
STORMINATER BMP MANUAL STANDARDS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE ENGINEER TO INSTALL
BENCHMARK AT EACH INFILTRATION BASIN AS A
GUIDE FOR MEASUREMENT OF SEDIMENT STORAGE.
3. THE INSTALLED INFILTRATION BASINS WILL MEET DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
(CONSTRUCTED OR RESTORED) UPON INITIAL OPERATION ONCE THE
PROJECT IS COMPLETE AND THE DRAINAGE AREAS ARE STABILIZED.

GRADING NOTES:
1. INITIATE EROSION CONTROL SEQUENCE BEFORE BEGINNING
CLEARING AND GRADING OPERATIONS.
2. CLEAR AREAS TO BE GRADED OF ALL VEGETATION, PROTECT
VEGETATION BEYOND GRADING LIMITS.
3. STRIP TOPSOIL TO FULL DEPTH IN AREAS TO BE GRADED-
4. COMPACT ALL FILL AREAS TO 95% OF MAXIMUM DENSITY,
OR PER GEOTECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS.
5. ALL AREAS ARE TO BE GRADED SO THAT NO AREAS OF
STANDING WATER OCCUR.
6. PROPOSED SPOT ELEVATIONS ARE SHOWN AT FINISHED

50 FT NEUSE RIVER RIPARIAN BUFFER.
STORMWATER NOTES:
1. SOIL BORINGS IN AND INFILTRATION BASINS
WILL BE CONDUCTED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF IMPERVIOUS AREAS
THAT PRODUCE STORMWATER RUNOFF. BORINGS WILL BE LOGGED
AND SUBMITTED WITH THE PE CERTIFICATION REQUIRED WITH PERMIT,
A REGISTERED SOIL SCIENTIST WILL FIELD VERIFY THAT THE SOILS IN
THESE AREAS WILL BE REPLACED WITH SUITABLE SOILS PER NCDENR
STORMWATER BMP MANUAL STANDARDS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE ENGINEER TO INSTALL
BENCHMARK AT EACH INFILTRATION BASIN AS A
GUIDE FOR MEASUREMENT OF SEDIMENT STORAGE.
3. THE INSTALLED INFILTRATION BASINS WILL MEET DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
(CONSTRUCTED OR RESTORED) UPON INITIAL OPERATION ONCE THE
PROJECT 15 COMPLETE AND THE DRAINAGE AREAS ARE STABILIZED.
