Please be advised that Article V, Section 5.3.4, b, iii of the Jackson County Unified
Development Ordinance requires that a copy of the approved soil erosion control plan be on
file at the job site.
There were no comments by Jackson County: Soil and Water Conservation District.
Our office received a revision to the previously approved plan, this has increased the amount of
disturbance by one acre; the new total disturbance is 3.99 ac for this project.
Due to the impact on the proper , in question, metal backed silt fencing needs to be installed onsite 8'
maximum span standard strength fabric with wire fencel.
Approval does not cover areas which require 401 and 404 permits from the US Army Corps of
Engineers and NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and/or other such governing
agencies, until such time as said permits are in place.
This approval does not exempt this project from any: other state or local permits or regulations that
may: be additionall3required.
Please know that approval of this sedimentation and erosion control plan does not qualify: this site for
vested rights with regard to the proposed subdivision ordinance and that this development may: be
subject to the subdivision ordinance when adopted.
Note: Should the plan not perform adequately; a revised plan will be required.
