Re: Tier Two Monitoring (SDO-2 and SDO-3)
Haywood County (White Oak) Landfill
NPDES Permit Number: NCG120047
To Whom It May Concern:
In accordance with the Tier Two monitoring requirements located in Part II(B) of
General NPDES Permit (NCG120000), please find enclosed one original and one
copy of July through September 2016 discharge monitoring reports (DMR) for
stormwater discharge outfalls (SDO-2 and SD0-3). SDO-2 and SDO-3 became
subject to the Tier Two monitoring requirements following two consecutive Total
Suspended Solids (TSS) detections above the benchmark value (100 mg/L) which
occurred on June 30, 2015 and November 2, 2015. Therefore. SDO-2 and SDO-3
are in the process of being monitored monthly for all of the stormwater
parameters until three consecutive monthly sampling results are below the
benchmark values. According to the site manager, no discharge occurred at SDO-
2 and SDO-3 during the months of July, August and September 2016. The site
will attempt to collect a monthly sample during the next discharge producing rain
event.
If you have any questions or comments; please feel free to call at (423) 303-7101.
Sincerely,
Robert Hudson

NPDES Permit Number: NCG120047
To Whom It May Concern:
In accordance with the Tier Two monitoring requirements located in Part II(B) of
General NPDES Permit (NCG120000), please find enclosed one original and one
copy of June 2016 discharge monitoring reports (DMR) for stormwater discharge
outfalls (SDO-2 and SDO-3). SDO-2 and SDO-3 became subject to the Tier Two
monitoring requirements following two consecutive Total Suspended Solids
(TSS) detections above the benchmark value (100 mg/L) which occurred on June
30, 2015 and November 2, 2015. Therefore; SDO-2 and SDO-3 are in the process
of being monitored monthly for all of the stormwater parameters until three
consecutive monthly sampling results are below the benchmark values.
According to the site manager. no discharge occurred at SDO-2 and SDO-3
during the month of June 2016. The site will attempt to collect a monthly sample
during the next discharge producing rain event.

Re: Tier Two Monitoring (SDO-2 and SDO-3)
Haywood County (White Oak) Landfill
NPDES Permit Number: NCG 120047
To Whom It May Concern:
In accordance with the Tier Two monitoring requirements located in Part II(B) of
General NPDES Permit (NCG120000), please find enclosed one original and one
copy of the March 2016 through May 2016 discharge monitoring reports (DMR
for stormwater discharge outfalls (SDO-2 and SDO-3). SDO-2 and SE
became subject to the Tier Two monitoring requirements following two
consecutive Total Suspended Solids (TSS) detections above the benchmark value
(100 mg/L) which occurred on June 30, 2015 and November 2, 2015. Therefore
SDO-2 and SDO-3 are in the process of being monitored monthly for all of the
stormwater parameters until three consecutive monthly sampling results are belo.Lv
the benchmark values. According to the site manager, no discharge occurred
SDO-2 and SDO-3 during the months of March 2016 through May 2016. The
site will attempt to collect a monthly sample during the next discharge producing
rain event.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call at (423) 303-7101.
Sincerely,
J /
