Gents,
A quick update on River's Edge Apartments.
We've recently been released to execute the work for the completion of the stream restoration Construction
Drawings and the development of the Stormwater Plan for the remaining portion of the site. Both these will be
necessary prior to the issuance of the 404/401 for the proposed impacts (reference the previously submitted
application).
At this point the permit application is still in your hands. If it's okay with you I'd ask that you hold them for now
as we're just getting started on the design work. Based on our current workload we're talking submitting these
documents for your review near the end of August to the middle of September timeframe. I realize this seems
like a long time but based on the fact that we've already lost half of July it's the best we can do at this point. If
possible we'll try and bump this up but it'll be tough.
I'll let you know how things are proceeding.

As per our discussion this morning Jack Carlisle has asked us to proceed with the preparation of the
Stormwater Plan for the River's Edge Apartments in Spring Lake. At this point we'll still be pursuing the impacts
as described in application submitted on January 30th of this year to include the installation of the two proposed
stream crossings.

I'd request that you (and the Corps) hold the permit for the time being and allow us to formally respond to your
request for additional information letter dated March 5, 2007. Clearly we've well passed the three week
response time described in your letter. Based on our current workload it's going to take us at least 45 days to
get this together. I'd request that you allow us 60 days to get it together and submitted for your review (roughly
July 20th)
Please let me know if you have any questions. Unless we hear otherwise, based on our discussion, I'll assume
this is okay.
