Cyndi Karoly is the most familiar with this project; she is out of the office this week but will be back on Monday. Bryan, if you're sending in another modification request, please talk with Cyndi. I was just going to track that. Do u have name and number of whom I should call at dwr? I was just going to send what was previously verbally approved and I thought what went thru public comment Sent from my iPhone On Nov 21, 2013, at 8:18 AM, "Brown, Thomas L SAW" <Thomas.L.Brown @usace.army.mil> wrote: > Classification: UNCLASSIFIED > Caveats: NONE > Bryan, > Please understand that nothing was approved. My recollection is that we verbally said that we MAY be able to accept 32 acres of offsite preservation and preservation of the remaining onsite wetlands as the mitigation for this project. We now have someone new with EPA and with DWR (formerly DWQ). State law requires a minimum 1:1 ratio of restoration, such as payment to a bank. DWR may require this now, even though it seemed that they were going to be able to accept only preservation last year. I can't make that call for them. I would recommend you contact DWR before you send in the modification request. > I will be in the field all day today and on leave tomorrow. I will be sending you a re -newed modification request for the permit referenced above in 7ohnston Co. Could you please send me the last iteration of the permit (I assume as was approved after the public comment period ran at the end of last year)? I wanted to make sure I asked for what was granted, as the last letter I have is Oct. 29, 2012 to you that lists a number of options. It appears we don't need the options anymore, I just wanted to make it as clear and concise as possible. > Thanks for working with us.
