7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
Shoreline has previously been stabilized with rip -rap. Existing rip -rap has
failed areas where the rip -rap has slid down the embankment setting up
bank erosion. Work scope involves adding rip -rap to stabilize the rock at
the tow of the embankment and adding fabric and rip -rap from approx.
elevation 758 to 761.
