One change is necessary - the perforated section of drain line in the gravel field must be enclosed. Allowing a perforated line to drain into the surrounding gravel is a type of wastewater infiltration, which the General Permit does not allow - and which the Division does not permit for this type of wastewater. The renewed version of permit NCG530000 is attached. You may begin using this version immediately. Please discard any old versions of NCG530000 that you have. Because there have been no changes to the discharge from your facility, a new Certificate of Coverage is not necessary. PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will be sent regarding the CoC renewal. No hard copies will be mailed. If you have any questions, simply reply to this message. Charles H. Weaver Environmental Specialist N.C.
