| visited the Union Cross project last week. The ditch line at permit site 3 is lined with rip rap. The permit drawings show
no rip rap. There was rip rap lining the stream bed and bank prior to construction. The area receives lot of runoff from
the highway, so the project personnel felt it was necessary to keep the rip rap. The permanent impacts to the area
haven't changed. I've attached a copy of the as built drawing showing the addition ofrock. Let me know if you need
anything else.
