Annette:
Caldwell Station Apartments is a project we have been working on this past year. This
development is vested prior to Phase II requirements but as part of our ACOE 401 Permit, TSS
removal of 85% has been required to be implemented. Therefore, for the removal or treatment
of the stormwater, we have worked in conjunction with CONTECH, both Tom Lawson & Christian
Hennessey, and designed a Contech Storm filter System for the proposed apartment complex
Mecklenburg County will not review the stormwater treatment since it is not part of their
regulation requirements.
Therefore, review & approval of the Contech Storm filter System Design falls to NCDENR -DLQ.
Project was originally submitted in April 2013 to the Mooresville Regional Office and copied
as instructed the Raleigh Central Office. With the changing of review and shuffling of
personnel by both DWQ & DLQ, we are just trying to get anupdate on the approval status of
this stormwater treatment system.
Please let us know anything you may need. I CC ":d you on August 28th,
2013 with the calculations for this system. If the construction drawings & details have "got
lost in the exchange of duties" between DWQ & DLQ let me know & I can email or send a hard
copy to you ASAP.
