The Division of Water Resources (Division) received your sludge survey extension request on
November 1, 2021. Rebecca Chandler in our Winston-Salem Regional office recommended
granting sludge survey extension for the lagoon at W4 Farm since the facility is in the process of
sludge cleanout. The Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed until December 31, 2023
for the lagoon at W4 Farm facility.

The next sludge survey for the lagoon at W4 Farms should be performed before December 31,
2023. Please retain this letter and keep it with your farm records for reference.
