Page # 1 NPDES NC0005363 yr/mo/day Inspection Type 14/03/10 117 18I RI (cont.) 1 Section D: Summary of Finding/Comments (Attach additional sheets of narrative and checklists as necessary) On March 10, 2014 DWR staff along with DEMLR staff from Fayetteville Regional Office conducted a Reconnaissance inspection of the Weatherspoon Steam Electric Plant (owned by Duke Power) located in Robeson County North Carolina. The purpose of this inspection was to identify, locate, and GPS sampling points (toe drains, discharge points, and surrounding surface water features). A total of 18 sampling points were identified. Staff present on March 10, 2014: DWR Fayetteville Regional Office Belinda Henson Jim Barbara Trent Allen Mark Brantley DEMLR Fayetteville Regional Office Diane Adams Mike Lawyer Nick Mills On March 12, 2014 DWR staff returned to the facility to conduct a sampling event. Of the 18 sample sites located on March 10, 2014 only 16 were sampled because two of the sites had no flow (thus no samples were taken).
