In accordance with Part I, Condition A. (6) of our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination. System
(NPDES) Permit No. NC0005363; enclosed is the Effluent Toxicity_ Report for Duke Energy
Progress, LLC., Weatherspoon Steam Electric Plant Outfall 001- Cooling Pond:.
Weatherspoon's NPDES permit became effective 11/1/2018 and has had episodic discharges on:
1. . _ March .14, 2019 due to maintenance activities associated with constructing Outfall 003,, data
was previously submitted.
2 June 19, 2020:due to maintenance activities associated with tree and vegetation
maintenance. An acute toxicity sample was collected June 24, 2020; data will be reported
on the June 2020 eDMR; and the Effluent Toxicity Report Form (AT-1) submitted to this
address.
