Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Hello Ms. Georgoulias, I'm reaching out again on behalf of my client. I wanted to ensure that I understand correctly. Employee parking lots (only) are graded to Outfalls 400 and 500 at Plant 1. Two plants are associated with this facility. I was wondering if it would be possible to move outfall 400 to a retention pond located at Plant 2 and remove outfall 500 altogether. No documentation or permission is needed from DEQ to perform this action, correct? We would just need to remove Outfall 500 from eDMR and change the latitude and longitude of Outfall 400, correct? I'm also working on their SWPPP update and during the last DEQ inspection, the inspector noted that outfall number 4 was not necessary (i.e., a parking lot is graded to the outfall). I was wondering what documentation we would need to provide DEQ to change the location of outfall number 4? Please check the permit documents in the NCG030642 COC file in our Laserfiche Repository for any correspondence about this. If this is an employee parking lot only, for example, with no industrial activities or storage, then it is simply outside the scope of the NPDES stormwater program and permit. This is a determination the permittee can make. The client has four (4) total outfalls and when they report via eDMR, only one (1) outfall is listed. The certificate of coverage number is NCG030642. Can you help me identify what the reporting issue is? Could it be that the facility has a representative outfall status (ROS)? If so, could you please send me that documentation? If not, can you please let me know who I can speak to or email to address this issue? We only have one outfall listed in our permitting system. Were the other outfalls ever submitted to us via our outfall collection form? That has long since concluded, but what we'll need is the (1) outfall number, (2) latitude and longitude coordinates, and (3) receiving water for that outfall. Please send those to me, and I can add the outfalls to our system. You are welcome to check the permit documents in the NCG030642 COC file in our Laserfiche Repository for any past ROS determinations that may have led to one outfall being entered — but historically we only entered one outfall to tie the receiving water to the permit. Permittees were supposed to submit the other outfall information to us some years back, and those were added into our system if submitted. The client submitted a ROS form (COC number NCG030246) on August 9, 2021. Can you please give me an update on the status of that form? Since a new NPDES permit (NCG030000) was renewed, does this mean that they are no longer covered under their previously submitted ROS (submitted in 2017)? Please clarify the timeframe above. Was there an ROS already approved back in 2017? And is the August 2021 submittal a request to have that continue into this renewal? Or is the ROS request submitted in August 2021 a new request, and you are asking about the status of ROS designation? Again, it might be helpful to review the permit documents in the NCG030246 COC file in our repository first. Also, this is the information on our website about what to do with ROS in the new renewal term: Things to Do if Your GeneralL Permit was Renewed In JuLy 2021 • Read the new permit and retain it at your facility. • Obtain a new COC via the COC ReaUgst ForL3 if you are current orr your permit fees. The facility was established in 1995 and I was wondering if you could provide a copy of their N01. I have a copy of their COC, therefore, I understand that a N01 must have been submitted. It's possible, although we did not always keep the original application back in that timeframe. The original copies were sent to our Central Files and then archived off -site. We now keep copies and scan every application that comes in. Please check the permit documents in the NCG030246 COC file in our repository for any of those records.
