Dear Mr. Brindle:
On November 5, 2021 the Division received correspondence from Kelly Thames of HDR on your behalf
regarding the Individual 401 Certification for the Piedmont Lithium Project. The correspondence was a
request for reconsideration and clarification of Condition 3 regarding surveying for state listed species.
Upon recent consultation with the NCWRC, the surveys required per Condition 3 are no longer
necessary.
Please note that all other Conditions of Certification # WQC004201 remain valid. Contact Sue
