Hi All,
As an update on I-5000, I went by the site on September 17, 2021 prior to my medical leave in early October
and found the job in what would be considered completed condition. There was no heavy equipment and the
lay down yards were cleaned up. Guard rail had been installed where at the dead end Rankin Lake Road where
the bridge was removed.

Rankin Lake Road was supposed to be graded to "match natural overbank topography" per the original permit
application, which was not done. The bridge was removed approximately 2 months ago and rip rap was
installed for stabilization, but no grading was done on the east side of the receiving stream, simply rip rap
stacked up and the road cut off.

I would like to know your thoughts before proceeding with issuing the permit.
