This Application cannot be used for wetland or stream impacts. Please provide seven (7) copies of this application and supporting information as well as a non- refundable application fee to the Division of Water Quality of $200.00 for impacts to lake bottom of less than 1 acre and $475.00 for impacts to lake bottom of greater or equal to 1 acre. (Sub - Contractor) has contracted with my company, Permits 4U, Inc., to obtain necessary permits for the proposed planned project listed above. The purpose of this project is to provide lake access to the community of The Cove at Morrison Plantation. The community will consist of 35 single family homes and 90 townhomes. This development has 579.24 feet of shoreline that is suitable for a residential marina. Their will be 25% of the developable shoreline preserved or 145feet. Please see attached drawing dated 08/07/113 by Darden Engineering. The boatslips will not exceed 120' in length. There will be a stationary pier that is 6' x 15' with a ramp that is 3' x 20'. The walkway to the boatslips will be 6' wide with 4' x 24' fingers. There will be dredging associated with this application. The dredge cut will be 154' x 130' x 2.5' for approximately 1,854 cubic yards. The spoil will be use as a privacy berm, along the back of units 14 — 22. The berm will eventually be landscaped. The dredge will be done by Land and Barge. There will also be approximately 150 feet of class B rip rap used to stabilize the bank along the shoreline behind the proposed boatslips. The amount of leased area will be 0.40 acres. The right will be conveyed to Lennar Carolinas, LLC, 11230 Carmel Commons Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28226. Application is being made to Duke Energy, LLC and to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for approval of this Residential Marina If final approval is granted, all necessary permits will be obtained before work is started.
