Carolina Poultry Power is proposing to construct an access road from
Old Stantonsburg Road to a proposed biomass power facility on City
of Wilson property, located at 35.685705,-77.889922. The e)asting
easement for the access road crosses a railroad before entering the
property. Due to the placement of the easement and the limitations
caused by the railroad, the access road will have to cross a potential
stream and its Neuse River Riparian Buffer. The project will also
include a water line crossing. As of the date of this submittal, a Buffer
Determination Request has not been submitted to DWR, but will be
prior to submittal of any permit applications.
