Slight left to stay on Hwy 64E/US-74 ALT E for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto
Buffalo Shoals Rd. and go .5 miles. Make a sharp left onto Rock Crest
Cove and go .1 miles to arrive at 135 Neighborly Drive.

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
Tear down and remove failed wooden seawall.
Dig and pour footing for replacement wall. Build and stucco block
seawall.
To minimize the impact on surrounding vegetation, access will be gained
by barge, established walkways, and existing dock. Work will be done
from the barge. All equipment and supplies will be stored on the barge and
will be removed daily. Cement mixers kept and fueled outside of trout
buffers. Stock and debris piles will be outside of the Trout Buffer and
scotched by tarps and small bales of hay and removed daily. Silt fence will
be erected around the entirety of the wall to prevent any runoff into the
lake basin. Plan to sow Virginia Wild Rye on the bank above the wall to
help prevent future erosion.
